Train Service

There are frequent services at Newtown station for travel between Buxton and Manchester via Stockport. Trains between Manchester and Sheffield stop at Central Station.

Bus Service

The 60, 61, 62 and 358 services all call at the bus station at the top of Union Rd and the end of Market St. The long-distance 67, 199 and TP (Trans Peak) services travel on the A6 and stop at Newtown on the outskirts of New Mills.
